How to attend Art lesson online?
Below is the a typical art lesson with Online ArtClass. If you can see the full animation here without error, your computer is ready for the Online class. Students of Online Foundation ArtClass will be given two(2) passwords: one for OnlineArt Classroom and one for Online Fun Whiteboard. Online classroom is the area that they login most of the time.

Setup art materials next to your computer Monitor prior login
You can use a A4 size sketch book for easy drawing, scanning and filing. This will not create too many drawing papers everywhere if you do not have an Art folio. We recommend using 2B pencil to draw and black outline pencil to do outlining. After drawing, you can use oil pastels (preferred), colour pencils or water colouring paint.

Mark Attendance when login
Students will need to make their own attendance after printout of their timetable. Each artwork sent to the teacher for marking will considered one attendance.

Select Lesson

After that, student will be able to select a lesson to start, for example, "Learn how to draw Goldfish". A small picture will be shown for selection at left column.

There are 2 speed modes:

1. Fast or regular speed when click the graphic link
2. Slow speed when click the text link

Check which speed is best for learning.

You will need to use scanner to scan your completed art picture or use digital camera to capture it as JPEG file format (preferrably at size: Width:800 and Height: 600) and email it to the art teacher for marking and review. This review will be updated to Member's Progress Report.
Ask the art teacher
Students can ask the art teacher via email anytime. By using the Online Whiteboard, message can be sent even when the teacher is not available. Student can post a message to the classroom. In this case, when teacher is online or other students are online, they can read the message.
Beyond the Art lesson - Online Whiteboard

Of course, it is usually more difficult to draw with mouse and it work better with a tablet pen mouse.
